According to the IT chief executive, tenders will be opened in the next few days to enter into an agreement with international companies on a new payment system and Pakistani consumers will be able to use other international payment methods, including PayPal.after the agreement 

With the approval of the International Payment Gateway, Pakistanis will be able to send money globally and receive foreign exchange for their products and services.

According to sources, the operation of another PayPal was launched in Pakistan last year after its dissolution and the launch of the International Payment Gateway was also a key element of e-commerce policy. When contacted by Urdu News about this, Shabahat Ali Shah, CEO, National IT Board (NITB), said the new payment system would give Pakistani consumers the opportunity to easily operate in global markets. The international payment gateway will be connected to MasterCard, AliPay  Visa.and paypal

Bilal Abbasi, Director of IT at the Department of Technology, told Urdu News that currently, Pakistanis use Visa or Mr Card to do anything to buy or sell globally, but the problem is  it is not real digital. And for their work they cost a lot of money.

PayPal, costs between 7 to 10% notes and the amount received, which is a very high amount. We are trying to work with an international company that charges Pakistani consumers about 4% and provides them with better services.

Bilal Abbasi hopes the new service will be of great help to Pakistani consumers, freelancers and entrepreneurs.

"We must have  install our grid, have our own gates and work with an international company, after which money from land payment schemes will be able to come to our payment gateway."

Apart from this but Pakistani customers will be able to send money to their bank account via PayPal and transfer money to foreign banks. It is as if the PayPal service will indirectly help Pakistanis.

Similarly, non-Western Union alternatives will also be able to withdraw Pakistani currency from their account.

Bilal Abbasi said in a few days, SBP, FBR, IT Department and NITB will process tender details, after which companies will be invited to submit their offers.

Asked if any international company would agree to come to Pakistan, the Director of Information said that for the last time such an effort was made, about five companies had shown interest and there was no problem with this. I will.
