YouTube announced earlier this year that users of the 'Shorts' feature will now be able to make money by posting short videos on the platform. Google-owned company has launched a 100,100 million YouTube Shorts Fund for YouTube Shorts, a feature that features the TickTock video app. This will allow subscribers of short videos on YouTube to be paid between 2021 and 2022 for 'most' and 'most watched' videos. The move by YouTube is said to be aimed at attracting video makers to this 'short' feature. According to YouTube, "payments for short video makers will begin in August this year."
