Successful liver transplant in Pakistan in an inconsistent process: 'After three minutes we were told that the body had found
"Daughters take nothing but give. My daughter also saved my life by giving me courage. Even if I can thank her, I can't pay."
This was stated by Tariq Iqbal Shahzada, who received a successful implant at the Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jilani Institute of Medical Sciences, Gambat, in the province of Khairpur, Sindh, for the first time in the history of Pakistan, using an unusual procedure.
After the incarceration, Prince Tariq Iqbal and his daughter Zainab Tariq, who are bravely devoted to him, are both in a stable condition.
This work was done by Professor Dr Abdul Wahab Dogar, Head of the Gambat Orthopedic Department and his team.
Professor Dr. Abdul Wahab Dogar said that according to Pakistani transplant rules, any part of the body can only be donated by close relatives and blood relatives.
"By law, before donating to someone else, you have to show that it does not involve buying and selling."
He said the patient's blood type was inconsistent with his close relatives and blood relatives. Family members and patients also agreed to have inconsistent methods of inclusion. A thorough examination of all those who wished to donate boldly, found the most suitable patient to be his middle daughter Zainab Tariq.
We had not yet told the family that Zainab's courage would be good for Tariq. Meanwhile, Zainab came to me alone and begged me to be very happy when her father received a liver transplant.
According to Professor Dr. Abdul Wahab Dogar, such installation work usually takes seven to eight hours.
What is the fixed method of installation?
Dr Abdul Wahab Dogar said it was the first time that incompatible work had been done in Pakistan while the technology was being used in the United States and Europe over the past decade.
Explaining his opposition to the system of accepting any other blood group in the human body, he said the antibodies present in the human body are protected from outsiders.
That is why the human body refuses to accept a blood type that is not available. If a blood group is not available a transplant is not possible without an inconsistent procedure.
According to Drs. Dogar, non-compliance with the transplant procedure involves lowering the immune system to a certain level in order to be added to another blood group or part of someone who does not have a blood group. Accept it
"When we got permission from the family that we could have the operation in a non-consensual manner and after Zainab's permission to give the liver in full legal form, they had to do the job," he said. About a month ago, a patient's antibody was lowered to a certain level by calling it from Faisalabad in Punjab and storing it in Gambat.
Medicines for this were rarely found in Pakistan and almost all were imported.
Professor Dr. Abdul Wahab Dogar said that in this work he received the help of Dr. Shehzad Sarwar, Dr. Roznia, Dr. Farhan and Dr. Nadeem, specialists in other fields of his field.
"We were treated for a month together. We checked our antibody levels regularly.
Good news for three minutes
Drs. Abdul Wahab Dogar said the work was very sensitive.
"We have selected our best team. We have hired the best neurologists, Dr Amir Hamza and Dr Farhan.
“We all had compassion that day,” he said. Even my team and I were very careful in taking action. We started work on July 3 at 9:00 a.m.
"Plans A and B were built according to our tradition. There were also emergency plans. He also warned other departments. The operation lasted seven hours.
Tariq Iqbal shehzad his successor was a battle for life and death
"After completing all the other steps, we had the patient's liver transplanted at about one o'clock in the first hour," he said. Within five minutes of a liver transplant, it is known whether the body has responded to the liver or not. We were all in a weird situation now. "
"Three minutes later we were told the body had recovered," said Dr. Dogar.
For three minutes, maybe every ten minutes, he kept asking if the body had found the liver. When we found out three minutes later that the body had regained its strength, we all had tears in our eyes. Perhaps the tears came from the eyes of a courageous daughter and family who were determined to do all they could.
Patients and sponsors will live normal lives
Dr Abdul Wahab Dogar said the patient was discharged from hospital yesterday but could not return home where he needed a daily checkup.
Professor Dr. Abdul Wahab Dogar said that every patient who has a liver transplant will have a loss for the rest of his or her life.Professor Dr. Abdul Wahab Dogar said that every patient who has a liver transplant should take some of the most important medications in life and Tariq Sahib should do the same.
Their blood type is O-positive, but now it will happen. If they need red cells in their life, they will look O, but if they need white blood cells, they will look good because they are brave. "Donor Zainab's blood type is B positive.
"Zainab is fine," said Dr. Dogar. Her liver is now being cared for by her father, and Zainab's liver is also being cared for in her body, but her liver will reach full size in four to six weeks.
Ms Tariq Iqbal, wife of Tariq Iqbal Shahzada, said Dr Abdul Wahab had given us great comfort as the work progressed and while traveling with his team, I felt free to ask Dr Sahib. What happened was that he smiled and replied that we had succeeded.
"My whole life was in danger," he said. My children and I felt that our 11 months of hard work, suffering, and anxiety were over. ‘

He said it would cost R100 million or 200 million, so we all decided to fight together, "We have three sons and a daughter. the children's blood was A-positive and AB, and Tariq's blood group was O-positive. '
"At this time we have visited many hospitals. Before people start talking and looking at these reports, they first say it will cost Rs. If we tell them our tests and reports, they will stop the operation.
Ms Tariq Iqbal said when we contacted India about the frustration, it was found that antiretroviral drugs could be used but many top doctors and hospitals in Pakistan still oppose the treatment. ۔
The success rate at Pir Abdul Qadeer Shah Jilani Institute of Medical Sciences, Gumt Khairpur was very good and the cost was low, so we contacted him. "
"I was praying for the pope to repair my liver in his body
Zainab Tariq said she had been praying for 11 months asking for her father's health day and night.
In all the prayers, he asked Allah to make my father brave. I was hoping that the Pope would love my courage because I not only love him but I get everything and habits from the Pope.
"He said I was ready to donate a liver when I was tested for height, weight, weight.
My mother kept apologizing to me. when i go for surgery i think i will be in a lot of pain and my life could be in danger.
"The brothers were holding my hands. They were all trying to show their strength, but I often felt tears welling up in their eyes. I was not afraid and was completely silent.
Tariq Shehzad Iqbal said when he found a new life now, it was because of his daughter.
"My sons and my wife were to undergo a liver test.
Prince Tariq Iqbal said his successor was a battle for life and death.
It was accompanied by a new process, it could be anything. It obviously had an impact on me. Now I can’t say I didn’t feel bad.
Zainab is my life anyway. I kept thinking that I too had a problem with Zainab. I looked at Zainab many times but she was calm. Like nothing will happen. I still do not forget her fears.
Prince Tariq Iqbal said, "When I woke up, I thought that if I thanked my daughter for the rest of my life, it would be a small thing."
I first asked Zainab when I woke up and she told me she was alive and well. "
He says, "I was not allowed to meet my father because of cowardice and other reasons. I left.Zainab Tariq said that after being discharged from theZainab Tariq said that after being discharged from the hospital, she was not feeling well for a single moment.
She says, "I always thought about my father, but because of Covarna and other factors, I was not allowed to meet him, but when I got permission and saw him healthy, it seemed that every wealth in the world was found. Gone.
