The Great Scientific Project of the 21st Century: Thirty Years of Space Telescope Mission Ready

Engineers are preparing to launch the James Webb Space Telescope into orbit.

The10 billion James Webb Telescope will be launched into orbit on December 18 from Coro in French Guiana.

The James Webb Telescope will replace the Hubble Telescope, which was launched into space by NASA in 1990. It was the first time in history that a telescope had been sent into space.

The James Webb Telescope, which is made in the United States, has been unloaded from a container and placed upright, and is undergoing the necessary checks before launching into orbit.

James Webb is a major scientific project of the 21st century

The Aryan Five rocket will launch the James Webb Telescope into space 1.5 million miles from Earth, from where it will try to see parts of the universe that the Hubble Telescope has not been able to reach.

The glass of the James Webb Telescope will be three times larger than the Hubble Telescope and will be compatible with infrared.

Scientists hope that the James Telescope will be able to find in space the stars that first appeared in the universe 13 billion and a half years ago.

The James Webb Telescope is a joint venture between NASA, the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency.

It has taken three decades from its initial idea to its preparation. In August of this year, he was last attached to the Northrop Grumman factory on the Redondo beach in California, after which he was sent to French Guiana, where it took him 16 days to arrive.

During the 2500 km long journey, the James Webb Telescope crossed the Panama Canal.

Experts at the European spaceport will check that the telescope has not been damaged during the voyage.

The telescope will then be refueled and connected to the Aryan Five.

Cargo ships have been arriving in French Guiana in recent weeks, bringing in the necessary equipment to operate the telescope.

This week, the Aryan Five rocket will launch two telecommunications satellites into space.
